Mary Brown was the lucky winner of the Jem 760 Janome machine and Sharon Warren won the Bank Sweeper! Congratulations to these two lucky ladies. We think that everyone was a winner as there were lots of bargains to be had. Thank you all for making it such a success!!

SIT ‘N SEW is back!!!! Beginning September 28^th from 1p.m. to 4:30p.m. here in our classroom. The cost is still $5.00. Come and sew with us. If you have a group of people who want to get together to sew, let us know and we’ll work to accommodate your group. Reserve your spot for the 28^th now! Here’s your chance to get out of the house and meet with friends to sew and have a great time.

Every day we are getting in new fabric and patterns. We have a whole NEW line of Heart ‘N Home patterns coming into the shop soon. Christmas fabric has arrived. A new line of Bear Essentials has arrived. These fabrics are so pretty in lots of colors. Check them out!

Cathy’s Project of the Month – September 13^th from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. She will be teaching the “charm square sewing machine cover”. Cost is $5.00 plus kit. Reserve your space now. This one is sure to fill up fast. We have samples in the store. As a “heads up”, our October class will be the Fold ‘N Stitch wreath.

Sharynn’s BOM will meet on September 22^nd from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Sharynn’s Stitching Friends will meet September 10^th at 9 a.m. Come and join in the fun!

Southeast Indiana Quilt Expo-- September 8, 9, 10 at Rising Star Resort, Rising Sun, Indiana. We will have a booth at this event. This year the event has been moved to the Rising Star Casino and Resort. This year’s speakers are Kaye England Productions and Wilmington Prints designer, Heather Givans contemporary quilter and designer for Windham Fabrics and owner of Crimson Tate. Modern quilter Brian Haggard, author and designer and Raymond Steeves of 3 Dudes Quilting will also be there. This is one you don’t want to miss. Sharynn’s Clifty Falls Retreat – April 7, 8, 9, 2017. There is excitement in the air about this one! For three days you can quilt, sew, see old friends and make new ones. The retreat fee ($260.00) includes 5 meals, your room and sewing space! The price is based on double occupancy. No single rooms are available for this retreat. We have limited space available. Fifty dollars holds your space for this retreat. We have lots of fun things planned for our attendees.
