As the days grow shorterand the leaves begin to fall, here at Sharynn’s we are getting in the holiday spirit! We are thinking about holiday projects. With cooler temps, we think of special family times and holiday meals. I love the aromas of all the holiday cooking! But what we as quilters do best is planning! We know….it’s only November but we are in the planning stage of lots of things for you our special friends.

We are having a PANTIE RAID! On November 18th or 19th, we will be doing a fund raiser for Jennings County Domestic Violence shelter. If you bring in one NEW package of underwear for women or children (any and all sizes), you will receive a coupon for 15% off any pattern, book, notion, or one cut of fabric . Bring in 2 or more packages and you will receive 20% off. Only one coupon will be allotted. There is a big need for these items at our local Domestic Violence shelter. Please consider donating for this worthy cause.

New patterns and kits have arrived! The Laser cut Kimberbell Christmas and Valentine’s Bench pillow kits came in and we are so excited to get started on these. These pillows will become wonderful family treasures. Come in and see what we mean.

Are you thinking that you’d like a new sewing machine for Christmas? How about dropping hints to that special someone of what you’d like to have? Now is the time to look into that. Prices are at their lowest and we are sure that you’ll find THE one for you. We have the new Anna Maria M100 Janome machine. Anna Maria Horner inspired this machine and she has been a spokesperson for Janome since 2011. This machine features 100 built in stitches, needle threader, scissors only to name a few. And it only weighs 14 lbs! This is a great machine to take to retreats and sewing classes.

We still have special pricing on our Skyline S7. With Christmas coming, this machine would be a great gift for that special someone.

We have lots of new patterns that arrived just this week. These are ones that we’ve never had here in the shop. Come take a look!

We’ve also received Maywood Studio’s PODS. These are pre-cut fabric for a 12 block Log Cabin Quilt. It makes a 29” x 39” throw. The kits include all the pre-cut fabric you will need plus binding. These are easy peasy. Come in and get yours early as we don’t have too many left.

CATHY’S PROJECT OF THE MONTH will resume in January, 2017. We will begin our new BOM in January/February. We have some of the sample blocks in the shop so if you are interested, please call or come in to let us know. We already have a few signed up!

Our SIT 'N SEW will be November 16th from 1:30p.m. to 4:30p.m. We had a great time in October so come and join in the fun.

Have you got your passport for the Annual 4 County Holiday Shop Hop? This year’s theme is “Reindeer Dash” and the dates are December 1, 2, 3. Hours will be 9-5 all three days. Passports are $5.00 each and they are on sale now. They will be $6.00 day of. After you have visited each shop and your passport is complete, you will be eligible for the Grand Prize drawing. Plus the more you shop at each shop, the more chances you will earn to win the individual $100.00 basket at each shop.

Our Christmas Open House will be December 3rd in conjunction with the Shop Hop. We will serve refreshments and have some specials.
