We hope that you are all staying warm and cozy! Our weather has been up and down temp-wise. It’s nice to think about being wrapped up in a warm flannel blanket/throw. We have lots of beautiful warm flannel and patterns to make one just for yourself.
Are you on FaceBook? If so, please friend us and look at all the new fabrics that we have posted lately. Lots of new spring fabrics that make us want to get busy. We have the new line of Kimberbell fabrics and the pattern for these fabrics. So pretty in Red and White! We are sure that you will love them. We just received Henry Glass Alpha Bears panel and coordinating fabric in bright, bold colors for kids! Also, fat eights, charm packs, layer cakes, and jelly rolls in the Rainy Day line. These are all so bright and cheerful! Keep watching FaceBook for more pictures.
For anyone who bought a new Janome sewing machine and has not scheduled their new owners class….if you want a class, please call and schedule. Some things to remember….please bring your instruction book, power cord, presser foot, feet for the machine, thread and fabric that you use and like. Also, please bring stabilizer and embroidery thread if you have decorative stitches built in to your machine. This will help you get the best results from the class.
For anyone interested in the New EMBROIDERY CLUB…..we will have an informational meeting on January 18th at 1 p.m. in our classroom. Please bring a jump drive in an envelope with your name on it and we will load your design on to it for you. You do not have to have a Janome embroidery machine to participate in this class however you should bring your instruction manual so we can help you if you need it. This first meeting will be informational only so you do not need to bring your machine to this class. If you have questions, please call us at 812-346-4731.
Sharynn’s Stithin’ Friends will meet on Saturday, January 14th at 9 a.m. If you have not signed up (and want to!) you can do so at this first meeting. The cost is $15.00 per year.
Sit ‘n’ Sew will be on January 25th from 1:30 to 4:30. Bring your machine, your project, and $5.00 and you can sew, sew, sew! We’ll provide the irons and ironing boards and maybe even a snack!! We are always here to help too.
And speaking of sitting and sewing….have you signed up for the Annual Quilt Retreat at Clifty Falls State Park?? It’ll be here before you know it. It is April 7, 8, & 9th. This is so much fun and always a great “learning” experience. We are looking forward to spending the weekend with you all. Sharynn will bring “the store” for your convenience. The cost of the weekend is $260.00 which includes 5 meals and your room. A deposit of $50.00 will hold your spot. Call to reserve your place.
