We have been so busy here preparing for the Charming Shop Hop coming up in March. Passports are selling, we are cutting fabric, and everything is coming together! There are eight shops in this shop hop. These eight are: Tree City Stitches; Margie’s Country Store; L & L Yard Goods; Quilter’s Nook; Sharynn’s Quilt Box; Cabin Arts; The Quilt Box ; & Quilter’s Garden. We have wonderful prizes for you too. The Grand Prize is a Janome 3160QDC Sewing Machine. There are 8 - $25.00 Gift Certificates; 8 - $50.00 Gift Certificates; a Gift Basket containing 80 fat quarters and 8 – in Store Gift Baskets up for grabs! Don’t miss this one. Due to a prior commitment, we won’t be having Sit ‘n’ Sew this month. Our next one will be March 1^st. If you have a group that you sew with and would like to use our classroom, let us know and we will schedule it for you.

DATES TO REMEMBER:

Sharynn will be vending at the Indiana Heritage Quilt Show to be held in Bloomington, In. March 2-4, 2017 at the Bloomington Convention Center at 302 S. College Ave. There will be workshops, merchants’ mall, new challenge category, and off site quilt exhibits. Their website is www.IHQS.org.

Our next embroidery class meeting will be March 8^th. You will need to bring white embroidery thread and bobbin thread and a color for your check mark. We used yellow in our sample but it is up to you.

At this time we have a full quilt retreat and unless we have a cancellation we won’t be able to take any more reservations. Also please remember to send in your final payment which is due March 7^th. We are looking forward to a really great time with all of you.

We are planning a St. Patrick’s Day Sale on our Janome Sewing Machines! Be watching for it!!
