It is a beautiful Spring day here in Southern Indiana! Hope you are enjoying it as much as we are. We are preparing for our big three day workshop on May 4, 5, & 6. Susan Jungerheld a well known Handi-Quilter Educator will be here to teach you all you need to know about your Handi-Quilter. We are going to fill our classroom with Handi-Quilter machines for this workshop. You must call to reserve a spot. The Thursday classes are full but several spots are still available for Friday and Saturday. Don’t be left out! Call 812-346-4731. Everyone will have a chance to work on a machine. More detailed information will be sent in a flyer so watch for it.

Southern Indiana “Spirit of America” Shop Hop….June 21^st thru June 24^th, 2017. Participating shops are: Sharynn’s Quilt Box, L & L Yard Goods, Margie’s Country Store, Quilters Corner Cottage, The Quilting Bee, The Village Mercantile, Let’s Sew, The Stitching Post, and Scrappy Patches. Shop Hop hours are 9-6 each day but please remember that The Village Mercantile and Let’s Sew are on Central Daylight Time. All others are on Eastern Daylight Time. Passports are now available in our shop. Price is $5.00 up to day of and then $6.00. Be watching FaceBook for pictures!!

You will receive a free pattern for our quilt block and the kits with the pattern are $5.00 each. There are prizes at each shop and the Grand Prize is a Janome Anna Marie Horner M100 from Sharynn’s Quilt Box or a Baby Lock from Let’s Sew. Each shop will give away a Gift Basket valued at $125.00, also a basket filled with 90 fat quarters is up for grabs!! And each shop will give away a $50.00 gift certificate. Get your passport early and receive a pin of the State of Indiana. Pins are limited. So get yours early!!

We have pulled many new bolts of fabric for the sale racks. So come in and get yours while they last!

Our Embroidery Class will be 10^th with morning class beginning at 9a.m. Afternoon class will begin at 1p.m. We will be making a cupcake birthday card and there are no calories in this cupcake!! Items you will need to bring to class: Hoop size 5x7 is needed for this class, self-adhesive Stablizer, thread in colors yellow (we used light lemon), blue, salmon, white or green depending on what you want. You are welcome to stop in the shop and view the sample to decide on what color you like best. If you have questions, please call 346-4731.
