Fall is fast approaching and we are gearing up with Flannels on SALE!! These are so warm, soft and cuddly! (We know that it is hot out now but cold weather is coming.) They would make wonderful throws for your couch to keep you extra warm this coming winter. They are on 20% off but only a limited time. So get them quick.

SAVE THE DATE: September 16th. We will be participating in National Jelly Roll Day. If you are a quilter, you collect fabric! Right? We all do it! We call it our stash. And we love it. If you are like us, you love the pre-cuts. These are those handy layer cakes, dessert rolls, honey buns, and jelly rolls. We buy them thinking that we’ll make something special but they linger in our stash. Well, ladies get those out and think of a project. Saturday, September 16th from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. you can sew in our classroom. Circle this date on your calendar in RED!! You can sew all day or part of the day. We do need a “head count” so that we can be prepared. We will have “treats” and some surprises. So come and sew with us. Reserve your spot now by calling the shop.
Another SAVE THE DATE: November 1st Sharynn’s Quilt Box will be sponsoring a Superior Threadology Class. It will be a 3 hour class here in our classroom. The cost of the class is $20.00. It will be interactive, hands on workshop guided by a Superior Certified Threadologist. Students will have the opportunity to explore and use a variety of Superior Threads. We are limited to 20 students. You will receive a thread kit. You must pre-register. Also, you must know your machine. The Threadologist cannot spend time helping with setting tension or changing feet, etc. You must own a machine with an open-toe embroidery foot or free motion quilting foot. More details will be forth coming.
