We are so excited about Jelly Roll Day!! And we are so looking forward to everyone coming and sewing with us. Remember to bring:
1) A small sewing machine with foot pedal, cords, bobbins, needles, pins, ruler and rotary cutter. We will have 2 places for cutting and several ironing boards. Try to have as much cut as possible before the party begins.
2) We will provide snacks and bottled water. Anything else you may want, you are welcome to bring. We just ask that no food be taken onto the main floor of the store. If you bring a drink, please have a lid on it!!
3) If you want to participate in the Jelly Roll Race, (you don’t have to!) it will be an extra $5.00 and the winner will receive the “pot”!
We are looking forward to having a great time! For some who have not been to Sharynn’s Stitching Friends for a while, there will be no meeting this Saturday, September 8th due to the Jelly Roll Day! We will have our next meeting on October 13th.
The Third Annual 5 County Holiday Shop Hop – Snowman Shuffle – 2018 will be November 29th, 30th and December 1st! Passports are now available for $5.00 each ($6.00 after the start of the hop) and when you purchase your passport you will receive a free original pattern! Hours are 9-5 each day. The five shops are Tree City Stitches – Decatur County; Sharynn’s Quilt Box – Jennings County; Quilter’s Nook – Ripley County; In Stitches – Rush County and Sew Crazy – Bartholomew County.
September 12th is our Embroidery Club meeting 11-2. Refer to last week’s email for a list of items you’ll need. Any questions, please call the shop. Please remember to save all the extra fabric as it will be used again.
Happy News!! The Janome 4120QDC(B) is back in stock! If you’ve been waiting, well the wait is over. This is an awesome little machine that you can take anywhere! Light weight and user friendly. This little “workhorse” of a machine has 120 built-in stitches including the alphabet! Along with a needle threader, scissors, locking stitch button and a speed control. There are many more features so be sure to come and see this one. Maybe Santa is listening??!! Or maybe the 3160QDC(B) is more to your liking. It has many of the same features as the 4120QDC(B) but only has 60 built-in stitches and no alphabet. Both machines weigh about 14 lbs. And both have an extension table.
