Monday was tax day!! We are always happy when this is over! Did you get a refund? Got plans for it? If not, how about a new sewing machine or a longarm?? We have the SKYLINE 7 on blow out pricing. The MSRP is $2599.00. But we are selling this machine for $1699.00 (plus tax)! This is an awesome machine with 240 built-in stitches, needle threader, scissors, and many, many more features. Come in and see what it can do! We have only 3 left.
We are so pleased to be able to bring you Michelle (Micki) Chappelear, Handi-Quilter Educator. Micki found her passion for longarm quilting while at a Mothers’ Day outing with her sisters, taking their mother to a quilt show. While there, Micki’s sister spotted a Handi Quilter machine and said it looked like something she would like. Prompted by the retailer, Micki tried the machine and was hooked! After two months of dreaming about the machine and the possibilities of what she could create, and after doing her research as a consumer, she ordered the HQ Fusion® with Pro-Stitcher® and never looked back! Each day she quilts, she looks forward to turning on her machine and spending the day doing what she loves. Micki now also owns the HQ Sweet Sixteen® and all three models of the HQ Stitch® machines.
Micki will be here Friday, May 17th and Saturday, May 18th for 2 classes each day. Friday morning will be Fast, Fun & Fabulous Free Motion Quilting and Friday afternoon will be Backgrounds, Borders, & Blocks. Saturday morning will be Creative Textures and Fills and Saturday afternoon will be Ruler Essentials. The cost will be $90.00 per day or $150.00 for both days.
Our space is limited so you need to sign up asap if you are interested. You don’t have to own a longarm to take part in these classes.
Have you signed up for the In-House Retreat in September? We are a bit over half full!! You can sew on anything you want. We will provide 2 lunches. The cost is $50.00. You can sign up and pay half to hold your spot. We are so excited to be doing this. The dates are September 20th & 21st. You will be able to sew from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. We hope you will join us for some great fun and lots of sewing.
Southern Indiana’s “Bed of Roses” Shop Hop will be June 19th thru June 22nd. There are 10 participating shops. Passports are now on sale for $5.00 each. On the day of the Shop Hop the price will be $6.00. Each shop will have a different quilt block pattern you will get for free when you visit their shop. Each shop will also offer a fabric kit for that block for $5.00, if you choose to purchase.
Each shop will have a gift basket valued at approximately $125.00! You may register for this gift basket when you get your passport stamped. You must be present to get your passport stamped. Shop owners cannot stamp passports for anyone not in attendance! Thank you for your understanding.
