We hope that you had an awesome Labor Day Weekend. I know the rain on Saturday was a bummer but on the whole, it was a nice relaxing weekend. It’s hard to believe that it’s already September. How quickly time flies.
We are beginning to see lots of pumpkins, mums, corn shucks and lots of other flowers decorating porches and doors. Are you decorating the outside of your house? Have you made something new for your door décor? Maybe a fall table runner or table topper. The oranges, rusts, tans, browns, dark greens and even reds do look very pretty together. If you have, bring them in and show them off! We love to see what you have created. I am working on a table topper with pumpkins in the center and maple leaves around it. We are looking forward to seeing what you are working on. It’s fun to share what you have created.
This Saturday, September 10th, Sharynn’s Stitching Friends will meet here in our classroom at 9 a.m. We always look forward to seeing everyone and what you have been working on. So be sure to join us at 9 a.m.
And if you are doing the Small Quilt Challenge, stick around as Valarie Robinson will be here to help you with your quilt. Please bring all your materials, pattern, etc. or finished project for this meeting from 10-12 noon. Even if you haven’t started, bring what you have even if it is only an idea!
Have you purchased a new machine from us? Don’t forget to schedule your new owner’s class. We will go over the basics with the machine as each machine has something different on it.
