School is out, summer is almost here, the gardens are planted and vacation is just around the corner. Now is a good time to bring in your sewing machine for a “spa day”! Darrell will be gone (continuing Handi-Quilter education) for a week in June. So now would be a good time to get it done.
A reminder….we will be CLOSED on Saturday, May 27th for a long weekend. We will reopen on May 30th at 10 a.m. We hope you enjoy your holiday! Stay safe.

Janome’s newest Embroidery/Sewing machine is here! It is the Janome Continental M17! We posted a picture on our Facebook page today. This beautiful machine has so many features and wonderful designs to embroider that you must see it to believe it. It has one of the largest work spaces in the industry today at 13.5” to the right of the needle. Great for quilting! And it has a stitch regulator making quilting a breeze. And, oh, the designs you can stitch out! 1230 different designs to be exact. These are just ones that Janome loaded for you. There are more on their website from Embroidery Library, Urban Threads, and Sew Steady. So come in and see what you can create!
Do you have someone who is just learning to sew and quilt? We have 10 different “3-Yard Quilts” from Fabric Café by Donna Robertson and Fran Morgan. These books are filled with tips, tricks, and techniques to help you get your quilt from start to finish quicker. They also have instructions on how to enlarge the quilt for Queen and King size. These books are great for some new to quilting or if you just want to use up scraps.
