We hope that you had a great Memorial Day Weekend! We’ve always felt that summer began with this weekend but of course it doesn’t begin until June.
With June just days away, are you working on projects for the Fair? We hear that there are some new and exciting “things” happening at the Fair this year. Will you be exhibiting your projects?
OK, folks Darrell has gone NUTS!! He has the Amara ST 20” (stand up/sit down) model that is on the floor. He says he has priced it so low that you have to come in to find out what that price is!!! We can’t give you’re the price on the phone either! This machine is perfect for a small space but you can quilt a King size quilt. So call and make an appointment, talk to Darrell and get quilting soon! If you are interested in a Handi-Quilter on a frame, we also have 3 models on the floor on special pricing. Come in, take a look!
Upcoming events:
June 9th thru the 12th Darrell will be gone for continuing education with Handi-Quilter in Utah. It is very important to stay up on all the latest technology. We will continue to take sewing machines for service.
June 10th Sharynn’s Stitching Friends meeting here in our classroom at 9 a.m. Please remember to bring your challenge quilt/project and Show ‘n’ Tell. There will be coffee and treats!
Sit ‘n’ Sew dates for June are the 14th and 28th. A great time to sew with us and get away from everything else. There is no charge for this and you can sew from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
If you purchased a sewing machine from us and have not had your training session, please call to schedule.
We still have a few spots open for the In-Store Retreat in September. We sew on Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Saturday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. We have Show ‘n’ Tell on Saturday after lunch. It is always fun to come and sew with your friends and we always have a good time. There will be specials just for you. So if you are interested, call the shop and reserve your spot.
