They say that we are in the “lazy, hazy days of summer”. It could be but there isn’t anything lazy about them! We‘ve seen on Facebook all that people are picking from their gardens and I’m sure they are canning most of it. It’s hot, hard work but very rewarding. It’s a bit like quilting, although not hot, it can be hard and it is rewarding. If you are working on a particularly difficult piece, bring it in and we’ll try to help you with it. We are always willing to help out.
We had a wonderful group of ladies here Saturday for Sharynn’s Stitching Friends meeting. Check out the pictures we posted on Facebook. You’ll find some great quilts and projects. These ladies are talented. Out next meeting will be August 12th. If you aren’t a member, you can join in the fun. Just come in and sign up!
We have received new fabrics from Moda. The name is Cascade and the colors are blue and cream. Check out our Facebook page for a picture. There are so many possibilities for this fabric.
