The days seem to be getting shorter and cooler. I’m really not ready to head into the Holidays. But I don’t suppose that makes much difference!
We have lots going on here at Sharynn’s starting with our Handi-Quilter Class on Thursday, the 14th. There are still spots available for this class. Harriet Carpanini will be teaching NUTS & BOLTS OF PRO-STITCHER. The cost of the class is $50.00 payable by check or cash NO credit cards. The fee is non-refundable. You will need a tablet or computer with Premium Pro-Stitcher down-loaded. The times are 9-12 and 1-4. We will break for 1 hour for lunch. You can sign up by calling or coming in. Harriet is a well-known Handi-Quilter Educator.
Now for our BIG announcement!! We will be receiving the all NEW Moxie XL 18” Longarm from Handi-Quilter!! This is the newest member of the Handi-Quilter family. You can add Pro-Stitcher and choose from several different frames. We will post on Facebook when this machine arrives. So watch the newsletter and Facebook for updates.
It’s time for Moda’s Jelly Roll Day…September 16th 9-2:30. This event is free just come and sew on one of those Jelly Rolls that you have in your stash! We have patterns that are awesome for these 2 ½ “strips.
Our classroom will open at 8:30 a.m. and you can sew until 2:30 p.m. We will have a cutting station and irons and ironing boards for your use. So come and join in the fun!
Our In-House Retreat is September 22nd & 23rd. We are so looking forward to this event. We did have one cancellation so if you would like to attend this “sew-in”, please stop in or call to reserve a spot. The fee is $60.00. Payable by check/cash. No credit cards. We have so much fun at this event. If you have reserved a spot, you will receive a letter next week with lots of details.
Don’t forget our Sit ‘n’ Sew dates…..September 13th & 27th. This is also a free event and you are welcome to come in from 10:30 to 3 p.m.
